Shadya enjoyed a much too short hour with
a very special friend from Columbia today.
Stephanie was passing through DFW and it worked
out just perfectly to let the girls visit.
They had some ice cream and then did their
best to photo document that in fact they
were both in Texas.
They are both so cute together and
Stephanie is welcome to visit Texas anytime!

These are amazing animals and so beautiful.

Shadya arranged for us to have a
serenade as we finished up our meal.

We left our home just after 9AM on Tuesday morning.
We arrived in San Antonio about 2PM.
We spent the late afternoon at El Mercado, I believe
that is the name. Then we went to eat at a
restaurant that was highly recommended.
We all enjoyed our dinner.
You will have to ask Shadya about my (Elizabeth)
unfortunate experience. She assured me it was good luck.

Shadya and her school friends had a very
fun first day of spring break
at Six Flags. It is an amusement park.
Can you believe that is Shadya dropping 50 stories?

Shadya and Lacey went to an engineering conference
at Texas AandM University this past weekend.
Shadya seemed to enjoy the experience greatly!
She was able to tour some of the engineering
buildings, meet current students, stay in a
dorm and eat campus food.
Her team also won the design contest and
she received a tool as a prize.
I do not think they got much sleep, but it
was a very positive experience for both girls.

If you see a white bandage on Shadya's wrist it is
to cover her bracelet and not an injury!
This game was a big win for the Panthers -
8-0.
